Student Services
The ESU 6 Student Services department provides special education for students with disabilities from birth to age 21. From Services Coordination for children birth to age 3 to transition activities for students leaving special education at age 21, ESU 6 staff focus on individual student needs and achievement while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
ESU 6 provides both direct and indirect services to address the wide variety of unique needs of students. In addition, the department provides professional development on special education regulations and effective practices. Consultation, including special education financial reports, is available to districts upon request.
