Early Learning Connection Coach Consultant

The Early Learning Connection (ELC) Coach Consultant supports coaches in coaching initiatives serving Birth to Kindergarten programs within the Southeast Region (ESU 4, 5, 6 and 18) of Nebraska. The ELC Coach Consultant observes and makes recommendations about effective practices where unmet needs/gaps or duplications of services exist in the Southeast Region of Nebraska.

They support early childhood coaches in environments and opportunities which promote the child's growth and development for any of the developmental domains, (language and literacy, health and physical development, approaches to learning, social emotional development, creative arts, science, mathematics) by:

• Offering resources and strategies to staff to enhance coach-educator relationships, offers expert suggestions, and utilizes reflective practices in all meetings
• Assisting coaches in structuring meetings and observations with educators to work towards goals and meet program objectives
• Checking in regularly with coaches to offer support and guidance
